Presented complete work of first project namely, Low Co-ordinated Cobalt(II)-Amide Complex: An Efficient and Robust Catalyst For Hydrogenating Carbon Dioxide Into Methanol Under Ambient Conditions

Recommended with commendation

July 2023

Thorough studies have been done and various new experiments have been performed to isolate and characterize various species spectroscopically, involved in the catalysis to validate the proposed mechanism as per the comments in the last review. I have even extended the application of our catalyst system for activating CO2 directly taken from vehicle exhaust. Besides this, I have successfully synthesized and characterized a new low coordinated copper dimer catalyst and it has also been tested for CO2 reduction to methanol. Preliminary results so obtained are quite promising and other optimizations are under process.
